Jean Baxter

Jean was born on June 5th, 1748 in Lanarkshire and her christening took place on June 19th, 1748 in Carnwath.¹

Jean's father was Douglas Baxter and her mother was Margaret Aikman.  Her paternal grandparents were William Baxter and Janet Johnston. She had a sister named Helen.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Ronald, Marion, Katherine and Margaret.
