Janet Faulds Armour

Janet was born in 1846 in Kilmarnock.^1 2   Janet's father was James Armour and her mother was Jean McMorran.  Her maternal grandparents were Robert McMorran and Jean McCrone. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Robert, Andrew, James, James, Thomas, Jane, Agnes and Margaret.  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 76 in 1922 in Alloway.
