Agnes' father was James Armour and her mother was Jean McMorran.  Her maternal grandparents were Robert McMorran and Jean McCrone. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Robert, Andrew, James, James, Thomas, Jane, Janet and Margaret.  She was the second oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 60 in 1901 in Kilmarnock.
