Benjamin Franklin was born on June 8th, 1848 in Columbus Co.  Benjamin Franklin's father was Doctor Franklin Williamson and his mother was Orpha Goodwin (Godwin).  His paternal grandfather was Isham Isom Williamson and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Powell; his maternal grandparents were Elias Goodwin (Godwin) and Nancy Baldwin. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William D, Willis Kendred, John Isom, Marshall Pitman, Louela Ethel, Mary and Penelope Elizabeth.  He died in Atlanta, Fulton Co. GA.
