Mary Jane Morton Tankersley

Mary Jane Morton was born on March 19th, 1781. Mary Jane Morton's father was George Tankersley and her mother was Dorothy Roy. Her paternal grandparents were George Tankersley and Mary Longley Long; her maternal grandparents were Reuben Roy and Mary Jane Morton. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John Roy, George, William, Ann Fox, Lucy, Elizabeth F, Caroline Matilda and Dorothy. She was the sixth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 43 on July 8th, 1824.
