William Marshall

William was born before 1772 in Albemarle Co. , VA. William's father was Martin Marshall and his mother was Sarah Basal. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Marshall and Wells. He had a brother named James. He was the older of the two children. He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas Riley, Nancy, Matthew, Martin Wells, Joseph Davis, Elias, Richard, Elizabeth (Betsy), Verlinda and Mary (Polly). He died about 1843 in Stokes Co, N.C..
