Thomas Riley Marshall

Thomas Riley was born on November 28th, 1780 in Albemarle Co. , VA. Thomas Riley's father was Martin Marshall and his mother was Eleanor Boswell. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Marshall and Wells; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Boswell and Sarah. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Nancy, Matthew, Martin Wells, Joseph Davis, Elias, Richard, Elizabeth (Betsy), Verlinda and Mary (Polly). He was the oldest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers named William and James. He died at the age of 81 on December 14th, 1861 in Forsyth Co, N.C..
