Richard Marshall

Richard was born on May 22nd, 1801 in Stokes Co, N.C.. Richard's father was Martin Marshall and his mother was Eleanor Boswell. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Marshall and Wells; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Boswell and Sarah. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Riley, Nancy, Matthew, Martin Wells, Joseph Davis, Elias, Elizabeth (Betsy), Verlinda and Mary (Polly). He was the youngest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers named William and James. He died at the age of 65 on August 5th, 1866 in Surry Co, N.C..
