Sarah Jane was born in 1855.  Sarah Jane's father was Thomas Marshall and her mother is Hannah Moon.  Her maternal grandparents are James Moon and Sarah Jones. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Benjamin, Thomas, Samuel, John, Walter, Martha and Bertha.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 87 on June 11th, 1942.
