Newton Hugh Lowrey

Newton Hugh was born on September 16th, 1832. Newton Hugh's father was Samuel Lowrey and his mother was Rachael Hannah Wortman Woertman Workman. His paternal grandparents were John Lowrey and Mary Shelly; his maternal grandparents were Abraham Woertman Workman and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William Greenleaf, John Milton, James H, Samuel E, Demereus, Isabel, Eliza C, Aley, Aley B Abby and Hannah Jane. He was the tenth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 61 on May 31st, 1894.
