Mary "Polly" Fountain

Mary "Polly" was born about 1776 in Surry , Co, N.C..¹ Mary "Polly"'s father was Stephen Fontaine Fountain and her mother was Jane Raper? Roper. Her paternal grandparents were Col Peter Fountain and Elizabeth Louise Winston. She had three sisters named Martha Patty, Sally and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died about 1827 in Stokes Co., NC.¹
