Rev Peter Fountain

Peter was born about 1691 in Va.¹ Peter's father was Rev James Jacques Fountain and his mother was Anne Elizabeth Boursiquot. His paternal grandparents were Rev James Jacques De La Fontaine Fountain Pastor of Vaux and Royan and Marie Chaillon; his maternal grandparents were Aaron Boursiquot and Jeanne Guillot. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, Aaron, John, Moses, Frances, Mary Ann and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died in August 1759 in Charles City, Va.¹

  Rev. Peter Fontaine (1694 - 1757) was born at Taunton, in England, was a brother of Mary Anne Maury, emigrated to Virginia in 1716, and was minister of Westover Parish for many years until his death in 1757.
