Moses Fountain

Moses was born in 1694 in Taunton, England. Moses' father was Rev James Jacques Fountain and his mother was Anne Elizabeth Boursiquot. His paternal grandparents were Rev James Jacques De La Fontaine Fountain Pastor of Vaux and Royan and Marie Chaillon; his maternal grandparents were Aaron Boursiquot and Jeanne Guillot. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, Aaron, Peter, John, Frances, Mary Ann and Elizabeth. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 72 in 1766 in Cwm Castle, Wales.

- Moses Fontaine 1 was born in 1694 in Taunton, Somerset, ENG. He died in 1766 in Cwm Castle, Wales. He was buried on 19 Feb 1766 in Newchurch, Wales.
  
  Entered Trinity College in June 1712. In 1715, Moses entered the Inns of Court at the Temple, in London, to study law. After just over a year, returned home to take his degree of Bachelor of Arts at Trinity College.
  
  Disgusted with the study of law, Moses apprenticed himself to an engraver in London and became successful in this profession.
