Joseph Brant Jr

Joseph was born about 1784. Joseph's father was Chief Joseph Thayendanegea, or "he places two bets." Brant (Mohawk) and his mother was CATHERINE ADONWENTISHON Croghan. His paternal grandparents were PETER Tehowaghwengaraghkwin Brant and Margaret Sahetagearat Onagsakearat , or Owandah; his maternal grandparents were Col George Tahkarihoken TRADER Croghan and Catherine Karaghiagdatle. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, John Ahyouwaeghs, Margaret, Mary, Catherine and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Isaac and Christina Aoghyatonghsera Kainyaron. He died in 1830.
