Isaac Brant

Isaac was born about 1762. Isaac's father was Chief Joseph Thayendanegea, or "he places two bets." Brant (Mohawk) and his mother was Margaret Aoghyatonghsera NEGGAN (PEGGIE). His paternal grandparents were PETER Tehowaghwengaraghkwin Brant and Margaret Sahetagearat Onagsakearat , or Owandah; his maternal grandparents were Isaac DEKAYENENSERE and Sophia Nugea. He had a sister named Christina Aoghyatonghsera Kainyaron. He was the older of the two children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joseph, Jacob, John Ahyouwaeghs, Margaret, Mary, Catherine and Elizabeth. He died in 1795.
