Earl William d'Aubigny 
William was born in 1140 in Arundel, Essex, England.1 William's father was Earl William d'Aubigny III and his mother was Adeliza de Louvain. His maternal grandparents were Duc Godefroi de Louvain I and Comtesse Ida de Namur. He had a brother and four sisters, named Simon, Alice, Cecily, Matilda and Matilda. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 53 on December 24th, 1193 in Wayland, Norfolk, England.2 General Notes
