Duc Godefroi de Louvain I

Godefroi was born in 1074 in Lorraine, France.¹ Godefroi's father was Comte Henri de Louvain II and his mother was Adele de Betuwe. His maternal grandfather was Comte Eberhard. He had a brother and a sister, named Henry and Ida. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 66 on January 25th, 1140 in Jerusalem, Palestine.¹
