Simon d'Aubigny

Simon was born in 1144 in Arundel, Sussex, England.¹ Simon's father was Earl William d'Aubigny III and his mother was Adeliza de Louvain. His maternal grandparents were Duc Godefroi de Louvain I and Comtesse Ida de Namur. He had a brother and four sisters, named William, Alice, Cecily, Matilda and Matilda. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 71 in 1215.¹
