Nancy Caroline Tilley 
Nancy Caroline was born on May 29th, 1843 in Chapel Hill, Orange Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1900. Nancy Caroline's father was James Tilley and her mother was Temperance Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were George Roberts and Nancy Mize. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named George William, Joel, Hinton Vance, James Sidney, Atlas, Emmett Harrison, Dock, Henry Adolphus, Minerva, Adeline, Julia Ann, Edna A. and Parthenia. She was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 57 in 1900.General Notes
