Alice Savage 
Alice was born in 1457 in Clifton, Cheshire, England.1 Alice's father was John Savage and her mother was Catherine Stanley. Her paternal grandparents were John Savage and Elizabeth Brereton; her maternal grandparents were Sir Thomas Stanley and Joan Goushill. She had eleven brothers and five sisters, named Lawrence, John, Robert, James, Thomas, Humphrey, Richard, William, George, Christopher, Edward, Eleanor, Margaret, Elizabeth, Savage and Katherine. She was the nineth oldest of the seventeen children.-
