Henry Plantagenet (Henry of Anjou)

Henry was born on May 6th, 1268.¹ Henry's father was Edward (Longshanks) Plantagenet of England I and his mother was Princess Eleanor of Castile. His paternal grandparents were Henry Plantagenet of England III and Lady Eleanore Berenger of Provence; his maternal grandparents were Ferdinand (The Saint) of Castile and Leon III and Joanna de Dammartin. He had three brothers and twelve sisters, named John, Alphonso, Edward, Katherine, Eleanor, Joan, Joan (of Acre), Margaret, Berengeria, Mary, Elizabeth, Isabel, Alice, Beatrice and Lucy. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Thomas, Edmund, Edmund and Eleanor.
