John Pirtle 
John was born on November 10th, 1772 in Berkeley Co., Virginia.1 John's father was Henry Pirtle and his mother was Mary Viney. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Pirtle and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Viney and Susannah. He had six brothers and five sisters, named George, Henry, Jacob, Thomas, Isaac, Abner, Artemesia, Mary, Keziah, Elizabeth and Cassandra. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 53 on March 26th, 1826 in Virginia.2 Death Notes
