Elizabeth was born on October 16th, 1791.1 Elizabeth's father was Henry Pirtle and her mother was Mary Viney. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Pirtle and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Viney and Susannah. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named John, George, Henry, Jacob, Thomas, Isaac, Abner, Artemesia, Mary, Keziah and Cassandra. She was the third youngest of the twelve children.-
