Calvin Foster 
Calvin was born in 1850 in Davie Co NC. Calvin's father was Isaac Hillery Foster and his mother was Ann Etchieson. His paternal grandparents were Zenas G. Foster and Dinah Taylor. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Isaac B, Shadrach Shadric M., Samuel T, Louisa, Mary A, Nancy Jane, Lydia D and Camilla. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers named James M, Wiley S and Thomas Martin.-
