Edward L. Despain 
Edward was born on December 13th, 1842 in Green County, Kentucky.1 Edward's father was John B. Despain and his mother was Malinda A. Bazor. His paternal grandparents were James Scott DeSpain and Susan (Sally) Peterson; his maternal grandparents were John Bazor and Mary. He had seven brothers and eight sisters, named James, Joseph, John, Henry, Hutty, Fielding, Lewis, Sary, Mary, Nancy, Polly, Sally, Rebecca, Araminta and Patsy. He was the fourth youngest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 72 on January 11th, 1915 in Green County, Kentucky. He was buried in Dezarn Cemetery, Green County, Kentucky.2 2 -
