Minerva E.(Manerva E.) was born on February 3rd, 1854 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.1 Minerva E.(Manerva E.)'s father was Cyrenus Wait Colyer and her mother was Sarah Waddle. Her paternal grandparents were John Wesley Colyer and Lydia Memes Purvis. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John W., Charles G., Cyrenus, Jehu, James Perry, Manerva Luela and Melinda J. (Malinda J.). She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died in 1854.General Notes
