James Perry Colyer 
James Perry was born in 1870 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.1 James Perry's father was Cyrenus Wait Colyer and his mother was Sarah Waddle. His paternal grandparents were John Wesley Colyer and Lydia Memes Purvis. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John W., Charles G., Cyrenus, Jehu, Minerva E.(Manerva E.), Manerva Luela and Melinda J. (Malinda J.). He was the youngest of the eight children. He died in 1870.General Notes
