John W. Colyer 
John W. was born on June 18th, 1852 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.1 John W.'s father was Cyrenus Wait Colyer and his mother was Sarah Waddle. His paternal grandparents were John Wesley Colyer and Lydia Memes Purvis. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles G., Cyrenus, Jehu, James Perry, Minerva E.(Manerva E.), Manerva Luela and Melinda J. (Malinda J.). He was the oldest of the eight children. He died in 1852.General Notes
