Perry Lewis was born on August 10th, 1832 in Knox Co., Illinois.1 Perry Lewis' father was John Salter BLUE and his mother was Mary MARTIN. His paternal grandparents were David BLUE and Phoebe WALLINGFORD. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Martin, John L., Andrew Jackson, Milton, Alvina, Clara and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Absalom A., Bailey Regan and Cynthia Ann.-
