Alvina BLUE 
Alvina was born about 1839 in Knox Co., Illinois.1 Alvina's father was John Salter BLUE and her mother was Mary MARTIN. Her paternal grandparents were David BLUE and Phoebe WALLINGFORD. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William Martin, Perry Lewis, John L., Andrew Jackson, Milton, Clara and Sarah. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Absalom A., Bailey Regan and Cynthia Ann.-
