James Akin Jr 
James was born on January 26th, 1833 in Perry Twp, Pike Co, Illinois, USA. James' father was James Akin and his mother was Eliza Richey. His paternal grandparents were James Akin and Mary Murphy. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John L, Franklin Street, Elizabeth, Nancy, Frances R, Caroline and Mary Ann. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 47 in 1880 in Oregon, USA. He was buried in Lone Fir Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah Co, Oregon, USA.General Notes
