Franklin Street was born on March 15th, 1842 in Salem, Henry Co, Iowa, USA. Franklin Street's father was James Akin and his mother was Eliza Richey. His paternal grandparents were James Akin and Mary Murphy. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James, John L, Elizabeth, Nancy, Frances R, Caroline and Mary Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 on August 29th, 1922 in Portland, Multnomah Co, Oregon, USA.General Notes
