Caroline Akin 
Caroline was born on January 2nd, 1846 in Salem, Henry Co, Iowa, USA. Caroline's father was James Akin and her mother was Eliza Richey. Her paternal grandparents were James Akin and Mary Murphy. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James, John L, Franklin Street, Elizabeth, Nancy, Frances R and Mary Ann. She was the second youngest of the eight children.General Notes
