Joan Fitzalan 
Joan was born about 1349. Joan's father was Richard II FitzAlan and her mother was Eleanor Plantagenet of Lancaster. Her paternal grandparents were Edmund FitzAlan and Alice De Warrenne; her maternal grandparents were Henry Plantagenet of Lancaster and Maud De Chaworth. She had two brothers and a sister, named Richard III, John and Alice. She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Edmund, Mary and Phillippa.
