Eleanor Berenger was born in 1218 in Aix-en-Provence, France.  Eleanor Berenger's father was Raymond Berengar V De Provence and her mother was Beatrix De Savoy.  Her paternal grandparents were Alfonso II of Aragon and Gersinde De Sabran; her maternal grandparents were Thomas I De Maurienne and Margaret of Geneva. She had three sisters named Margauerite, Sanchia and Beatrice.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas and Constanza of.  She died at the age of 73 on June 24th, 1291 in Amesbury, Wiltshire, England.  She was buried on August 12th, 1291 in Amesbury, Wiltshire, England.
