Alfonso II of Aragon 
Alfonso II of was born in 1174 in Barcelona, Aragon, Spain. Alfonso II of's father was Alfonso I of Aragon and his mother was Sancha of Castile. His maternal grandparents are Alfonso VII of Castile and RIxa of Poland. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Pedro II of, Ramon Berenguer of, Fernando of, Constanza of, Leonor of, Sancha of and Dulce of. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 35 in February 1209 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy.General Notes
