Henri De Avesnes

Henri was born about 1271 in Valenciennes, Nord, France. Henri's father was Jean II De Avesnes and his mother was Philippine De Luxembourg. His paternal grandparents were Jean I De Avesnes and Aleida of Holland. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Jean, Valeran, Willem III, Alix, Marguerite, Isabelle, Jeanne, Marie and Ida. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died after March 18th, 1303 in Kammerich.
