His paternal grandparents were Williams Robbins and Mary Wells Battle; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Sellers and Sarah Hickman. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Arthur Robbins, Johnathan, William Absolom, Joel, Daniel and Unknown. He died at the age of 66 in 1831 in Cooswada, AL.1 -
