Uriah Hubbard 
Uriah was born in 1785 in Pendleton, SC, USA.1 Uriah's father was William Hubbard and his mother was Jane Reeder. His paternal grandparents were Peter Hubbard and Agnes Chiles; his maternal grandparents were Simon Reeder and Anastasia Dunbar. He had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph, David and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 66 in 1851 in Hall, GA, USA.1 General Notes

Uriah took a 640 acre reservation on Wahoo Creek in Hall County, by rig
ht of his wife, with 10 members in his family. He later sold it to GA comm
issioners on June 21, 1823 for $1350.00.

In checking census records I find:
1830 - Uriah Hubbard in Hall CO., GA living next door to Benjamin Brackett
He has 4 sons and 2 daughters still at home.
Testimony from Matilda Hubbard Parris would correspond with the reco
rd as she states that she "had 4 brothers, one died, three returned wi
th me to the old nation and came again with me back. Only one of them n
ow living. I was not married when I first came to this country, but was t
he next time I came." That would make Matilda one of the females and proba
bly Cynthia is the other as she had not married Mige yet. (From Testimo
