Peter Hubbard 
Peter was born in 1725 in Caroline, VA, USA.1 Peter's father was John Hubbard Jr. and his mother was Mary Harrison. His paternal grandparents were John Hubbard and UNKNOWN Catherine. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Usevions, David, James, John, Richard, George, Elizabeth and Usley. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 48 in 1773 in Anson, NC, USA.1 General Notes

Peter and Agness published their intentions to marry for the 2nd time on 8
/9 Oct. 1744 (Cedar Creek Minutes, pg. 23).
Thereas Peter Hubbard of the County of Caroline son of John Hubbard of t
he County of Amelia and Agness Chiles Daughterof Menoah Childes of the Cou
nty of Caroline Having published their intention oftaking each other in ma
rriage before two monthly meetings of the people calledQuakers in Virgin
ia according to the good order used amongst them whose proceedings there
in after deliberate consideration with Regard to the Righteous law of G
od and Examples of his people Recorded in the Scriptures of truth and in t
hat case now approved of by the meet they appearing cleare of all others a
nd having consent of Parence and friends concerned--Now these are to certi
fy all whomeit may concern that for the full accomplishing their sd. Inten
sion this ninthday of the Tenth month 1744. They the sd. Peter Hubbard a
nd Agness Chiles appearing in Publick assembly of the aforesd people and o
thers mett together at theirpublick meeting place in Caroline County a
nd in sollom manner her the sd. Peter Hubbard taking the sd. Agness Chil
es by the hand did openly declear as follweth. You are my witnesses th
at I do this day take this my friends Agness Chiles to be my wife promisi
ng with the Lords assistance to be to her a faithful and loving husband te
ll death. and then the sd. Agness Chiles in like manner Declared as follow
th. You are my witnessess that I do this day take this my friend Peter Hub
bard to be my Husband promising with the Lords assistance to be to him a f
aithful wife tell death, and the sd. Peter Hubbard and Agness his wi
fe as further confirmation thereof did then and there to the presents se
tt their hands and we whose names are hereunto subs being present among
st others at the solloming of their marriage and subscription in the mann
