Absalom was born on February 4th, 1832 in Westchester, Westchester, New York.  Absalom's father was John Anthony I WOOLF and his mother was Sarah Ann DEVOE.  His paternal grandparents were John Anthony WOOLF and Phebe WEEKS; his maternal grandparents were John Jr. DEVOE and Sarah Weeks. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named James, Isaac, John Anthony, Andrew E., William Henry, Homer, Wallace, Sarah Ann, Hannah Eliza, Phebe Elizabeth and Harriet.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 78 on February 17th, 1910 in Hyde Park, Cache, Utah.  He was buried on February 20th, 1910 in Hyde Park, Cache, Utah.


Absalom's first family with Lucy Ann HAMBLETON

‌Absalom and Lucy Ann were married in a religious ceremony on March 25th, 1857 in Nephi, Juab, Utah.1   They had four sons and eight daughters, named John Anthony, George Madison, Chester Hambleton, James, Chelnecha, Lucy Anne, Phebe Almira, Emma Sylvania, Orlette, Zina, Susie Orilla and Ida Lusina.


Absalom's second family with Harriet WOOD

‌Absalom and Harriet were married in a religious ceremony on April 19th, 1857 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.1   They had four sons and six daughters, named Martin, Frank Henry, Frederick Orson, Archibald, Esther Merilla, Harriett, Sarah Alice, Maria Eliza, Florence Eltha and Rhoda Elizabeth.
