John Jr. DEVOE 
John Jr. was born on February 5th, 1778 in Westchester, Westchester, Ny.1 John Jr.'s father was John DEVOE and his mother was Maria DEBEVOICE. His paternal grandparents were Daniel DeVeaux and Margaret Caljer; his maternal grandparents were Carel Debevoise and Eva (Eve) van Voorhees. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named Charles, Frederick, Sarah, Margaret, Anna, Elizabeth, Eve, Effy(Euphemia), Sally (Sarah), Euphemia (Effie) and Anna. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 85 on February 3rd, 1864 in ,West County, New York, United States. He was buried in February 1864.1 1 General Notes
