Sarah was born on April 13th, 1781 in Pelham, Westchester, New York.  Sarah's father was Absalom WEEKS and her mother was Mary Or Nancy VAN TASSEL.  Her paternal grandparents were Abel Weeks and Sarah Burdg; her maternal grandfather is Thomas van Tassel. She had four brothers and a sister, named Gilbert, Samuel, James, Robert and Anna.  She was the youngest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Smith, Stephen, Martha and Phebe.  She died at the age of 83 on April 23rd, 1864 in Rigby, Fremont, Idaho.
