Mary Stukeley 
Mary was born about 1523 in Afton, Devonshire, Eng.. Mary's father was Hugh Stewkley and her mother is Jane Pollard. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Stewkley and her paternal grandmother is Anne Wood; her maternal grandfather was Lewes Pollard. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Lewes or Lewis, George, Thomas, Hugh, Anias, Anne, Elizabeth, Audrie, Agnes and Catherine. She is the second oldest of the eleven children.-
