Hugh Stewkley 
Hugh was born in 1496 in of, Affeton, Devonshire, England. Hugh's father was Thomas Stewkley and his mother is Anne Wood. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Stewkley and Thomazin Cockworthye; his maternal grandfather is Thomas Wood. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Maurice, Christopher, George, Margery and Thomazin. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 63 on January 6th, 1559.-
