Elizabeth Weakly was born on October 18th, 1812. Elizabeth Weakly's father was Samuel Cartledge and her mother was Agnes Weakly Groves. Her paternal grandfather was Joseph Cartledge and her paternal grandmother is Dilly Landers. She had five brothers and a sister, named Grove Harrison, William M., Stephen Groves, Joseph, Samuel and Martha. She was the oldest of the seven children.
