William E. Allen

William E. was born in 1852.  William E.'s father was James Allen and his mother was Mary A. Haynes.  His paternal grandfather was Joseph Allen and his paternal grandmother is Agnes Patterson; his maternal grandfather was Thomas J. Haynes and his maternal grandmother is Lettie Duncan. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas J., James Monroe, Henry C., Sarah L.E., M. E., Martha C., Nancy Caroline and Eliza Frances. He had two half-brothers named Reuben E. and Francis Marion.
