Birdie Louise was born on February 27th, 1924 in Rogers,Texas. Birdie Louise's father was Wiley Levi Shelgen and her mother was Feba Jane Owens. Her paternal grandparents were John Karl Shelgen and Nannie Adams. She had two brothers named Adolphus Levi and Andrew Avertt. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 73 on March 18th, 1997 in Isabella,Kern California.-
