Nancy Merrill 
Nancy was born about 1756 in Jersey Settlement,Rowan County,NC. Nancy's father was Benjamin Merrill and her mother was Jemima Smith. Her paternal grandparents were William Merrill and Penelope Stout. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, John, Andrew, William, Charles, Elijah, Jonathan, Anna, Penelope and Ellen. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died on June 28th, 1837 in Randolph County,NC.General Notes
