Andrew Merrill 
Andrew was born in 1751 in Jersey Settlement,Rowan County,NC. Andrew's father was Benjamin Merrill and his mother was Jemima Smith. His paternal grandparents were William Merrill and Penelope Stout. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, John, William, Charles, Elijah, Jonathan, Nancy, Anna, Penelope and Ellen. He is the third oldest of the eleven children.General Notes
